In line with section 32 (3) of the Rivers State Local Government Law, the Executive Chairman of Etche Local Government Area, Hon. (Dr.) Obinna Anyanwu JP, has forwarded the names of Supervisors and Special Advisers nominees to the Local Government Legislative Council for screening and approval.
The committee according to the chairman is a Constituted Committees on Task Force/Oil Bunkering and Environmental Sanitation

The nominees are expected to appear before the Local Government Legislative Council with their credentials (20 copies each) on Monday September 20, 2021 for screening and confirmation as Supervisors and Special Advisers designates.
Subsequently, Hon. Obinna Anyanwu has approved the constitution of a Task Force/Oil bunkering and Environmental Sanitation Committees.

The chairman disclosed this in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Oluor Anyimachukwu Kaycee Robinson said members of the aforementioned committees are expected to be present at the council secretariat in Okehi on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 by 9am for their inauguration.
The statement further noted that all Covid 19 protocols will be duly observed.
Recall that the Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Sir Allwell Ihunda JP had also pledged to register the presence of his administration in the twenty wards of the local government area.
Sir Allwell Ihunda spoke, when a delegation of Oro-Abali Community Development Council led by the President Comrade Manuchim Lemmy Wopara, paid a courtesy call on him in the Council Secretariat, Moscow Road.
