Members, Fellows of Int’l Alternative Dispute Resolution in Rivers Judiciary Inducted for State Multi Door Court

 Members and fellows of International Alternative Dispute Resolution in Rivers State Judiciary have been inducted to mount the affair of the State Multi Door Court House in the state.

Speaking during the induction at a Capacity Building Programme for Rivers State Multi Door Court House, Port Harcourt organized by the International Dispute Resolution Institute, Abuja, the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Simeon Chibuzor-Amadi threatened not to telorate any act from the inductees that will jorpadize the essence of the center.

Chief Judge of Rivers State, cautioned members of the Multi Door Court House not to exhibit the attitude been experienced in regular court room just as he charged them to be confidence and commitment in discharge of their responsibility.

Justice Chibuzor-Amadi while insisting that the operation of the Rivers State Multi Door Court House which is targeted at decongesting court room is a dream come true, promised to ensure regular training for members and fellows of the Alternative Dispute Resolution.

“You all know that the Rivers State Multi Door Court House is targeted to de congest the court room in the state, we are really happy about that and it is our promise that we will ensure regular training for members and fellows of the Alternative Dispute Resolution.”

In his address, International Dispute Resolution Institute, Abuja Consultant, Professor C.J Amasike revealed that over ninety seven percent of cases filed in United States of America Court is resolved with the use Alternative Dispute Resolution Method.

Professor C.J Amasike urged the members to promote and maintain the use of ADR, stressing the need to have Multi Door Court instead of one door in ensuring speedy justice.

On his remarks, a Senior Judge at the state Judiciary, Justice Adolphus Enebeli noted that the court system which is full of court delay has failed, hence, the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution is necessary, just as he called for cooperation, unity and commitment for the interest of achieving the sole aim of the Multi Door Court House.
