Some of the aspirants including Tammy Danagogo, Felix Obua, Lee Meaba has expressed mixed feelings over the outcome of the Peoples Democratic Party Primary held in Port Harcourt yesterday.
They made their positions known in their different reactions in a telephone chat with our Correspondent in Port Harcourt.
Felix Obua, one of the Governorship Aspirant of the party while commending the delegates for their expertise, noted that he is ever loyal and committed with the supremacy of PDP.
“Above all, party is supreme. I want to also expressed my appreciation to the leadership of Governor Nyesom Wike for given me this plateform.
“Put it in the news, that I also congratulate Sim Fubara, he has my support for the 2023 elections.”
Also speaking, Lee Meaba expressed believe that the process was manipulated but called on the people of the Ogoni Extraction to remain calm and avoid any form of protest.
Also, when contacted for their reactions, Senetor Thompson Sekibo and the PDP chairman in Rivers State, Destmond Akanwo declined taking calls.

Meanwhile, a Political Analyst, Chuba Okpuzor said the emergence of Simnialayi Fubara as the party flag bearer of PDP will quench the agitation by the people of riverine for a governorship space.
According to him, the looming crises and the hunger for protest will also be reduced.
Okpuzor told our Correspondent that although he believe that Sim Fubara was the favourite candidate for the Rivers State governor, he also believe that Wike will do everything within his power to ensure that PDP wins the main election in 2023.
He called on the immediate past Accountant-General of Rivers State and the PDP flag bearer, Sim Fubara not to allow godfatherrsm characterize his reign if he becomes the next governor of the state.
Meanwhile, the 2023 candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State, Siminialayi Fubara has attributed his victory as the flag bearer ahead of the 2023 general elections to the grace of God in his life.
In his speech, the immediate past Accountant- General of Rivers State also thanked the Governor of Rivers State for his leadership qualities and his fatherly examples which he said is speaking volume in the state.
He commended the PDP delegates for delivering justice in democracy, expressing hope that he will win as the governor of Rivers State in the 2023 general elections in the state.
Fubara emerged victorious after polling a total of 721 votes out of 890 accredited votes, in an election contested by 14 other aspirants.
He was declared winner by the Chairman of the electoral panel and Returning Officer of the election, Professor Walter Ndutibe.
Our Correspondent reports that some aspirants including Tammy Danagogo, Felix Obuah, Lee Meaba, Gabriel Pidomson, Senator Thompson Sekibo among others were not present at the event.
Sim Fubara is the immediate past Accountant-General of Rivers State and hails from a riverine community of Opobo Town in the Rivers South-East Senatorial District of the state.
