Here’s what an author said about Happiness. “There is no greater power than to smile at failure, no more beautiful an ornament to your being than a genuine smile, and no beauty greater than the smile of peace and wisdom glowing on your face.”
Everyone has the right to be happy and deserves happiness. They say when you are happy, it rubs off on others. Research has it that when you concentrate on making others happy you become not just satisfied but happier than when you give yourself happiness. Your day becomes brighter. You may not even care about the time and money spent.

Eleanor Roosevelt said, “Since you get more joy out of giving joy to others, you should put a good deal of thought into the happiness that you can give.”
Since you get more joy when you give out one, have you considered what you can do to someone or for someone that will bring happiness to them which will of course return to you?
Here’s what you can give to others that will bring Happiness to you too, especially during this short break.
1. Give a smile
Everyone has one challenge or the other, so try as much as possible not to make it very obvious around others because you never can tell what they are going through as well. Instead, do your best to smile around others. Noticed how you get back a smile when you smile at others?
You don’t get back a frown or a smirky face instead you get a smile. So, try it out today, always wear a smile and get it back.
2. Give a sincere Compliment
Sometimes what that person just needs from you is a compliment. Compliments can be given to family members, friends or even a total stranger. When you tell someone how beautiful they look or how well they speak, whatever compliment you give to them, it boosts their confidence, knowing too well that someone appreciates who they are and what they represent. On the other hand, while complimenting others, you also build your confidence, knowing that Someone is happy by what you just did. You never know, you may also be complimented on your outfit, your manner or a lifetime friendship can be struck, especially with a stranger.
Giving compliments can mean especially much if it’s for something in the other person’s heart. Or something he or she has been putting in a good effort with like getting into better shape for the last few months.
3. Let someone into your lane while you’re driving.
As weird as this sounds, it can be beneficial to both you and the person. It can relieve stress for you and the person. Instead of trying to harass the person for trying to overtake and probably raining abuses on them, quietly allow them. Give it a try and see that it works.
4. Give Humour
Having a good sense of humour is also beautiful. Don’t go all the way acting and being too serious. People are naturally drawn towards people who make them laugh and bring happiness to them.
5. Express gratitude
Gratitude brings happiness to you and others. When you are grateful, it shows a sense of contentment. Show gratitude for what is taken for granted. We may sometimes take what others do a bit too much for granted. For instance, the food they cook, how they keep doing their job consistently every day or how they are there to listen when we need it.
6. Give encouragement
So many people are discouraged and depressed. The world can be a tough place at times. So when you notice someone around you who is in a negative state, give the person your best encouragement at that time. Never procrastinate because you never can tell what’s in the mind of the person and the next action he or she has planned.
7. Make the person a delicious meal.
It’s a short holiday and people are planning how best they can utilize it to ease stress. Do your loved ones the good of preparing them a favourite meal. You’ll be shocked to see the happiness it will give to them.
