Nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has finally admitted that his fight with Uche Maduagwu was a publicity stunt.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, he explained that the fight was orchestrated in a bid to promote his recent movie.

The actor recounted how he made Nigerians believe the much-publicized fight was real after Uche Maduagwu questioned his source of wealth on social media.
He explained that he understands Nigerians love to gossip and bad news, so he decided to tap into that to promote his movie which has a similar storyline.
Jim Iyke said: “I am too strategic to jeopardize the success of my film by actually getting into a real fight with Uche Maduagwu.
“My team came up with the plan and Uche Maduagwu was contacted and paid well for it.”
Recall that video footage that went viral on the social media space, Jim Iyke traced Uche Maduagwu to his studio and subsequently got physical on him.
Uche Maduagwu who seemed surprised asked how Jim Iyke was able to trace him to the apartment and further asserted that the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) would apprehend him for the act while claiming he is on their wanted list.
Jim Iyke however lost his temper in the course of the verbal altercation and bounced hard on Uche Maduagwu who fled immediately.
