The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA) will inaugurate its new National President, Ide Udeagbala, at its 61st annual conference.
Udeagbala, the Chairman of J. Udeagbala Holdings, an indigenous conglomerate with six subsidiaries, will be inaugurated as NACCIMA’s 21st National President.
Udeagbala is a businessman and alumnus of the Harvard University School of Business Administration in the United States, where he completed the Advanced Management Programme (1997).
In 1996, he received the National Productivity Merit Award (NPOM) in the Business Productivity category. In the economic environment in which Nigeria’s manufacturing industries operate, his pursuit of excellence has earned one of his company’s subsidiaries an award from the Central Bank of Nigeria as the Best SMEIS, 2008. He also received the 2015 Excellence Award from the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB).
He is an economic nationalist with a high level of integrity and community standing, as well as demonstrated values of acting in good faith and the best interests of society.
He has served on the boards of several government agencies as well as some organized private sector businesses. He is currently a member of the Nigeria Customs Service and the Tax Appeal Tribunal. He has previously served as President of the Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (ACCIMA).
