On Monday, April 26, some gunmen had attcked six communities in Anambra where nine persons were killed.
In regards to this unfortunate incidence, the Anambra State government has imposed a curfew on six communities like Anambra East and Oyi local government areas respectively.
The communities where this attack was carried out were Igbariam, Aguleri, and Umueri in Anambra East, as well as Nteje, Awkuzu, and Umunya in Oyi local government area.
Professor Solo Chukwulobelu said the curfew, is between 7pm and 6am daily.
The statement advised residents of the state living in the affected communities to go according to the stipulated order of the government and adhere to the fixed time.
Security personnels have been giving very strict orders to make sure the order is enforced accordingly.
