Wednesday, July 7, 2021, marked day 3 of the peaceful Niger Delta University students protest. The students were still protesting because the school management introduced new policies that they believed were not in their favour.
In the heat of the protest, new directives were given by the school management ordering the students to vacate the school premises with immediate effect on or before 3 pm on that same day and academic activities were also suspended indefinitely.
Ayibanua Timibra, a reporter from Niger Delta Connect went to the university campus to hear from the students and also amplify their voices.
