The outgoing Zonal Commander of Nigeria Custom Service Zone C in Port Harcourt, Elton Edorhe has described the Nigeria Custom as one of Nigeria Foremost in terms of discipline and service delivery among military formations in the country.
Speaking during an emotional send forth ceremony at the Custom Headquarters, River’s Port in Rivers State, DCG Edorhe thanked stakeholders in the zone and especially men and women of the Nigeria Custom Service for maintaining the high standard in service delivery set out by the present leadership of the Nigeria Custom Service, calling on men and women of the zone to continue to protect and place service to nation beyond personal interest.
On his successor, DCG Elton Edorhe said he is confident in the ability of his Successor, ACG Kayode Olusemere will surpass his achievements base on his professional training, abilities and competences.
Elton Edorhe who is recently promoted from the rank of Assistant Zonal Commander to Deploy Controller General, DCG, also described the incoming Assistant Custom Controller ACG, as a veteran who has gone through the rank and file of the Nigeria Custom Service.
DCG Elton Edorhe is since been promoted from Assistant Controller Custom to Deputy Contribution Customs to take charge of Enforcement Inspection & Investigation at the headquarters of the Nigeria Custom Service Abuja.
Edorhe urges everyone to work in synergy with his successor ACG Kayode Olusemere.
In his speech, the incoming Zonal Coordinator Zone C, Assistant Comptroller General Kayode Olusemire assured officers to turn around the zone to an enviable zone, promising to be fair in all his decisions.
He called for the cooperation of officers in other to achieve good result in the zone and prayed for the outgoing coordinator.
