Nollywood actor and comedian, Olanrewaju James popularly known as Baba Ijesa has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old minor.
This is coming barely a year after the Nollywood star was arrested and prosecuted for sexually assaulting a minor.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo in a two-hour judgment on Thursday 14th July 2022, convicted Baba Ijesha of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, and attempted sexual assault in an Ikeja Special Offences Court.

Justice Taiwo, however, discharged and acquitted him of counts one and count six, which were: sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration.; and sentenced to 16 years imprisonment.
