Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Dominic, bags an endorsement deal with a fitness company.

The movie star recently concluded the deal with Get Fit Company and thought it necessary to share the good news of her recent achievement on her social media handle.
The unveiling of Rita Dominic as their new brand ambassador was accompanied by a short advertisement video that featured the star.
Rita Dominic is a member of the Royal Nwaturuocha family of Aboh Mbaise local government area in Imo State. She is the youngest of four children. Her late parents were health care professionals; her father was a medical doctor and mothers a nursing officer. Dominic attended the prestigious Federal Government College Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, before heading to the University of Port Harcourt, where she graduated with a BA (Honours) Degree in Theatre Arts in 1999.
Rita started performing as a child, appearing in school plays and children’s television shows in Imo State. In 1998, she starred in her first movie, A Time to Kill. She won the City People Awards in 2004 as the Most Outstanding Actress. She has starred in over 100 Nollywood productions.
Taking to her Instagram account, she said:
“I am super excited to announce I am now @getfitng Brand Ambassador! I have used Getfit Ruby and I can attest to the effectiveness of their products!
If you are looking to reduce your belly fat and snatch your waist! @getfitng is the best answer and it works with or without exercise.”
Recall that in one of our stories another veteran actress in Nollywood industry, Tonto Dikeh received another endorsement deal to become a brand ambassador for a popular skin care product ‘Klleral Cream’.
It is no longer a surprise that most consumer products now turn to stars from the movie industry to aid in marketing new product lines and wears. Becoming a brand ambassador has been a major means of livelihood for top celebrities and not just the desire for fashion models or reality TV stars.
