Mrs Victoria Ani has been appointed as the new State Coordinator for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ondo.
Mrs Ani, who hails from Enugu State, is a graduate of Mass Communication. She had her secondary education at Queen of the Rosary Secondary School, Nsukka, obtaining her West Africa School Certificate in 1981. She bagged an Ordinary Diploma in Mass Communication from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Enugu.

She acquired a degree in Mass Communication from the Anambra State University of Science and Technology (now ESUT) before going further to obtain an MSC in International Relations form the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in the 2009.
She dutifully served her fatherland in Lagos where she underwent the compulsory one year National Youth Service during the 1992/93 service year. Vanguard reports that she served at the Corporate Headquarters of the Nigeria Breweries PLC, Iganmu in Lagos State, where she distinguished herself.
She was employed by the NYSC as Public Relations Officer II in 1993. She worked at the Directorate Headquarters until 1995 after which she was transferred to NYSC, FCT Secretariat. She was posted back to the NYSC Directorate Headquarters in 2004. She was there till 2017 when she was deployed to NYSC Secretariat in Enugu as head of Press and Public Relations in 2018.
Victoria Ani is the 20th Coordinator of the Scheme in Ondo State and the seventh female to be so appointed.
The new Coordinator holds the traditional title of Lolo having been married to an unassuming Community Leader and grassroot mobiliser who holds the title of Ozo in Igbo land.
According to Vanguard, the season Public Relations practitioner is married to a retired Director of NYSC, Ozo Anthony Ani, who is generally regarded and accepted as an architect of modern NYSC because of the innovation he brought to the scheme when he was in active service.
