Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has forwarded four names to the State House of Assembly to be screened and confirmed as commissioners as he starts his second tenure.
In a statement released by the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Youth and Sports Development, Akogun Olugbenga Omole, he disclosed that the governor has nominated four of his former appointees as commissioners-designate.
They are Mr. Wale Akinterinwa, who was the Commissioner of Finance , Donald Ojogo, former Commissioner for Information, Charles Titiloye, former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice and Engr. Raimi Aminu, former Special Adviser to the Governor on Works, Lands and Housing.
In a letter addressed to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Oleyelogun Bamidele David and signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale requested members on behalf of the Governor to give their approval to the list in view of the urgent need to fast-track the instrumentality of governance.
Mr. speaker pledged on behalf of the house that quick approval will be given out soonest.
