PAP Begins Radio Sensitization Program on TEM Scheme, Other Activities

The Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), at the weekend commenced a special radio sensitization programme about its activities, especially the ongoing training of ex-agitators in the Niger Delta under the Train, Employ and Mentor (TEM) scheme.

The weekly programme which is airing across select radio stations in the region x-rays the giant strides of the PAP under the leadership of the Interim Administrator, Col. Milland Dixon Dikio (retd).

According to a statement, the radio programme will also be used to clear some misconceptions about the policies of the Dikio administration and bring stakeholders and people of the region up to speed with the vision of the programme as enunciated in the mandate of the Federal Government for the PAP boss.

The statement said, “This special radio broadcast became a child of necessity because of the urgent need to use the media to further highlight activities of the amnesty programme and in the process clear some misconceptions and doubts.

“The 15 minutes recorded documentary programme which started last weekend will complement other media activities of the PAP that are ongoing and increase the level of information dissemination.

“For the listening public, the programme tagged PAP SERIES runs on Adaba 88. 9 FM, Akure, on Tuesdays by 10.45am and on Thursdays at 6:15pm while it runs on
Kpoko 100.5 FM, Warri,  onTuesdays at 9:30 am and Thursdays at 4:30 pm.

Others are Peoples ‘93.1FM, Yenagoa on Tuesdays at 11:30am and Sundays at 7pm, Rhythm 94.7, Yenagoa, atv6:40am on Mondays and Saturdays.

The rest are Inspiration FM 105.9, Uyo, Wednesday 3:30pm and Friday 9:am and Nigerian Info, 92.3 on Friday 1.10pm and Saturday 1.45pm.

The statement added that the television version of the documentary programme will commence in the coming weeks on some regional and national stations.
