Former Governorship aspirant, under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the September 19, 2020 election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, and his running mate, Alhaji Gani Audu, have been declared winners of the appeal filed against their disqualification verdict.
It will be recalled that Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, and his running mate, Alhaji Gani Audu, were disqualified from contesting the Edo governorship election by a three member panel in Edo High Court, Benin.
Appeal Court’s Justices O.F.Omoleye, B.A. Georgewill and O.E.Oho unanimously declared that there was no evidence of credentials’ forgery on the part of Audu.
