The suspected killer of the 29-year-old lady whose body organs were cut off in Mosagar, Ethiope West Council Area of Delta State, has been reportedly arrested by the police.
The suspect is currently under the custody of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
The acting Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed to Nation that the suspect has been caught.
The Nation had reported earlier that the victim was found dead in her residence in the community on Tuesday.
Late Blessing was reported to have been seen last on Saturday May 29, after she had returned home with a man.
A source said, being worried over the whereabout of the victim made neighbours to invite the police to break down her door, where her lifeless body with private parts missing was discovered.
Neighbours reportedly perceived a smell coming through her house, before they invited the police.
The Police confirmed that her “private part and nipples cut off,” when her body was found.
Meanwhile Widow of 42-year-old Mr. Oguchi Unachukwu, who was allegedly murdered by an Airforce officer in Imo State, Mrs. Ijeoma Unachukwu, has petitioned the state Commissioner of Police, Abutu Yaro, requesting he uses his good office to bring the culprit to book.
Mr. Oguchi Unachukwu, who was based in Hamburg, Germany was headed to the Sam Mbakwe Airport on Monday, May 31 to catch a flight to Lagos preparatory to catching a Germany-bound flight same day when he was shot on the forehead at close range by an operative of the Airforce at the airport checkpoint.
