According to the command, it recovered 18 handsets with 23 SIM cards from the suspects.
According to a statement issued Tuesday night by the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Suleiman Nguroje, the suspects were all apprehended after credible information from a reliable source.

The suspects were identified by the police as Sanda Buba, 33, of Bausman village in Chigari in Fufore LGA, Aliyu Abubakar, 34, of Yolde Pate in Yola South LGA, and Ashiru Sarkin Yamma, a 25-year-old youth with no fixed address.
Tukur Hammadu, 35, of Yolde Pate, Yola South LGA, Abdul Isa, 35, of Samunaka, Yola South LGA, Idris Musa, 27, of Malabu, Fufore LGA, Samaila Garba, 25, of Bunga, Malabu district, Fufore LGA, and Mumini Idirisu, 25, of Bunga, Malabu district, Fufore LGA, are among the others.
The police said that investigations led to the recovery of the phone and SIM card, and that the suspects confessed during interrogation to kidnapping Alhaji Sale Idi of Farang in Fufore LGA, Ya’u Adamu of Ganye town, and Jones Hayatu of Kojoli Village in Jada LGA, respectively, and demanding large sums of money as ransom.
