Damilola Adekoya aka Princess, the guardian of the alleged sexually molested minor, has reacted to the bail granted Baba Ijesha, reminding everyone who cares to listen, that she will have the last laugh.
Olanrewaju James, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has been in detention since April 22, on allegation of defiling a minor, but was granted bail on medical ground on Monday, May 17.
The granting of bail followed a letter lawyer to Baba Ijesha, Barr. Adesina Ogunlana wrote to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police that his client, Baba Ijesha was traumatised, weak and growing lean in detention and therefore pressed for his release on bail, especially as the matter was a bailable offence.
On receiving the information that Baba Ijesha has been granted bail, Nigerian comedienne, Princess took to her Instagram page to express confidence that she would come out victorious in the litigation, though not immediately, but definitely.
“I will win, not immediately but definitely,” she wrote.
“Say no to child defilement, say no to rape and say something if you see something,”
The lawyer to Baba Ijesha, Barr Adesina Ogunlana confirmed on Monday that the actor has been released by the police on bail.
According to Ogunlana, Baba Ijesha’s health has deteriorated in detention while waiting to be arraigned in court over the alleged defilement

It will be recalled that amidst reports that the Lagos State Police Command has granted bail to Baba Ijesha after spending weeks in detention for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl, fellow Nollywood actor and friend of the accused, Yomi Fabiyi had said that in matters of the law, respect for human rights is key.
Things took a dramatic turn on Monday, May 17, when Baba Ijesha was granted bail at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti, on health grounds.
