Earlier this week, a smiling Queen Elizabeth II was seen viewing the Royal Windsor Horse Show, making up for concerns about her health that caused her to miss the opening of parliament.

In the front passenger seat of a Range Rover, the 96-year-old queen was photographed arriving at the event, one of the highlights of her year, wearing a white shirt, blue cardigan, and tinted glasses.

Through the open car window, she addressed a group of people.

When the monarch dropped out of Tuesday’s state inauguration of parliament, Buckingham Palace said she was suffering from “episodic mobility issues”.

Since an unplanned night in the hospital last October, the queen has been rarely seen in public and has complained of difficulty standing and walking. In February, she was diagnosed with Covid-19.

Her last public appearance was in March at a memorial service for her late husband, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.

Her health difficulties may prevent her from attending ceremonies commemorating her Platinum Jubilee, which will mark a record-breaking 70 years on the throne.

Recall that, To commemorate her Platinum Jubilee this year, Britain’s Queen Elizabeth is being honoured with a Barbie doll image of herself.

Mattel confirmed on Thursday that the Barbie image was a Tribute Collection Barbie doll commemorating the monarch’s 70 years on the throne.

The Barbie doll image is dressed in an ivory gown with a blue sash adorned with miniature medallions and ribbons, emulating the Queen’s iconic appearance. The figure also sports a tiara similar to the one Elizabeth wore on her wedding day.

Queen Elizabeth, who turns 96 on Thursday, ascended to the throne when her father, King George VI, died on February 6, 1952, at the age of 25. She has since become the longest-reigning monarch in British history.

The doll will be available in Harrods, Selfridges, and Hamleys in London ahead of the official Platinum Jubilee celebrations in early June.

Recall that, Buckingham Palace released the full schedule of events to commemorate the British queen’s platinum jubilee, which marks her 70th year on the throne.
