The case of murder suspects who beheaded a nine year old boy in Agbandele community in Emuoha Local Government Area at the magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt has suffered a set back.
The case suffered a set back due to the absent of the Chief Magistrate in court over court free day to mark the NBA law week.
The two suspects, Kenneth Sylvanus And Chijioke Ogbonna are standing trial on a three count charge of conspiracy, murder and beheading of one Destiny Peter, nine year old at Agbandele community in Emuoha Local Government Area.
Our correspondent reports that at the last adjourned date the first accused Kenneth Sylvanus informed the court that he was guilty of the murder charge and one Chibuzor Amadi was a collaborator in the murder case but was bailed at the police station before their arraignment.

The Presiding Chief Magistrate F I Iyabo on the said date directed the prosecutor to liaise with relevant authorities and produce the third suspects Chibuzor Amadi on the next adjourned date which is today.
Our correspondent reports that the case is now adjourned to 13th of December 2021.
Recall that last week, the Magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt has remanded two suspects for beheading a nine-year-old boy in Agbandele community in Emuoha Local Government Area.
The Presiding Chief Magistrate also directed the prosecutor to liaise with relevant authorities and produce the third suspects Chibuzor Amadi on the next adjourned date.
The two suspects, Kenneth Sylvanus and Chijioke Ogbonna who are standing trial on a three-count charge of conspiracy, murder and beheading could not take plea due to the capital charge of murder
When the matter was called, the first accused Kenneth Sylvanus informed the court that his collaborator in the murder, one Chibuzor Amadi was bailed at the police station before their arraignment.
Correspondent reports that prosecutor also told the court that the statement of the first accused mentioned the said Chibuzor Amadi as a collaborator in the case and wondered why the police will bail the suspect.
In his ruling, the Chief Magistrate I. F. Iyabo remanded the two suspects and directed the prosecutor to liaise with Attorney general’s office and produce the third suspect Chibuzor Amadi on the next adjourned date of Monday 6 December 2021.
Recall that the trio of Kenneth Sylvanus, Chijioke Ogbonna and Chibuzor Amadi were paraded on the 19 of November by the Rivers state police command for beheading the nine-year-old-boy.
