A ship owned by the Russian forces was destroyed along with 2 of their boats in Berdyansk, a port city they occupied.

According to BBC News, Footage of the damage was uploaded by the Ukrainian forces on Thursday, where Ukrainians were jolly that the Orsk had suffered a hit.
They are yet to reveal the details of the actual cause for the explosion of the ships.
Berdyansk, located on the west side of Mariupol, was occupied 4 days after Russia invaded Ukraine.
Russia reportedly use the port to transport equipment for its soldiers.

The Russian Orsk was a ship that approached Berdyansk the previous week and Russians had jubilated over the presence of the first warship at the port.
Russia had released footage of armoured equipment being taken off the Orsk at the port.
Deputy Defence Minister of Ukraine reported that Ukraine forces had hit a target holding 45 armoured vehicles, 400 troops and 20 tanks.
International news agencies are unable to confirm the claim.
In the early part of the week, Gazdiev – working for RT, a Russia-backed media outlet – disclosed that missiles from Ukrainian troops had targeted Berdyansk port, and most of the missiles were interrupted by Russian aairstrikes

Berdyansk is a strategic location for Russians because occupying Berdyansk is Russia’s attempt at forming a land bridge from the Russian border to Crimea captured in 2014.
There were videos of protesting residents demonstrating against Russia taking over Berdyansk, videos on social media showed the ilitary assaulting people in order to disperse the protest.
Ukrainian officials reported that hitting the Orsk held significant meaning because the Orsk was a replica of a battleship that captured Crimea in 2014.
