Putin has reportedly lost another commander to the war going on in Ukraine.

The war is headed into its 2nd month and Colonel Alexei Sharov is the 15th military commander to be killed in the war.
Colonel Alexei Sharov is the most recent high-ranking Russian soldier to be killed in a war replicating world war II. Troops from Ukraine took to social media on Tuesday to announce his death.
Sharov oversaw the 810th Guards Separate Order of Zhukov Brigade in the Russian Marines.

It was reported he was killed in the city of Mariupol where more than 100,000 people have been unable to escape because the Russians have laid siege there for weeks.
The city is being pushed into starvation and there have been so many mass graves dug in places in the city.
Russia reported losing 10,000 troops of their own since the start of the invasion even though Komsomolskaya Pravda, the tabloid paper, stated they were hacked and that was not the number.

Russia has done nothing to formally update the numbers of those lost to the war after officially announcing on the 2nd of March that 498 soldiers had been killed and about 1,597 injured.
The death of Sharov is coming after the death of Colonel Nikolay Ovcharenko who controlled the 45th Engineering Regiment.
Colonel Sharov happened to be the 5th colonel to be killed, and making the number of Russian commanders killed to be 15.
According to the United Nations human rights report, about 902 Ukraine civilians have so far died and an estimate of 1,459 wounded as of the 19th of March.
