Zlatan Ibrahimovic has named Brazil’s Ronaldo Nazario De Lima the greatest footballer in history, according to goals. The Swedish striker put the two-time World Cup winner before the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo de Lima played for top European clubs like PSV, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and AC Milan. He won the Ballon d’Or three times before retiring from the game.
Speaking to news men before the Rossoneri’s Europa League game against Red Star Belgrade, Ibrahimovic was full of praises for the current owner of La Liga side Real Valladolid.
Zlatan was quoted by Goal:
“I don’t need to describe Ronaldo, ‘The Phenomenon’. “I always say you have the players that play the game, and the players that are the game. For me, Ronaldo is the game. When you watch him play, everyone wanted to play like him and become like him. “The way he was moving, the way he did his stepovers, the way he did ‘the snake’. The way he was moving, for me he’s the greatest player through history, no doubt.”
