Senate President Ahmed lawan reacts to kidnap of Jangede school girls
Ahmed Lawal

Nigeria’s Senate president, Sen. Ahmed Lawan has reacted to the kidnap of over 317 girls from Jagabe school girls in Zamfara State.

Lawan has called for a thorough search of how the country got to this level of such a dilapidated security structure he however condemned the act and sent his sympathy across to the traumatized parents of the students.

The senate president called for a collaborative energy between the government and Nigerians to seek ways to permanently end the constant taunting of the people by bandits in the north west and the north east.

He however assured Nigerians that the Nigerian government will do all it can to ensure the release of the girls, charging the security operatives in the area to make the security and possible immediate release of the abducted students their priority.

This statement was released by a media aid to the Senate President, Ola Awoniyi.
