A sexually starved 52year old man named Jimoh Mutaliu has been nabbed in Ogun by state police command for reputedly impregnating and arranging abortion for his niece.
According to a statement released by DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi who is the state police command’s spokesperson, the suspect was apprehended after the victim’s father reported to Adatan divisional headquarters that his 16-year-old daughter had been impregnated, and after an investigation, it was discovered that his own brother, who is also the girl’s uncle, was responsible. He also uncovered that the man has had carnal knowledge of the victim for a long time and has procured abortions for her on two occasions, according to him.

Upon the report, the DPO Adatan division, SP Abiodun Salau detailed his detectives to the scene where the randy uncle was promptly arrested.
On interrogation, the suspect made confessional statement that he actually committed the crime, he also affirmed that he had arranged for two abortions for her with the help of a nurse.
The victim has been taken to hospital by the police for medical treatment and report” the statement read.
CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun, the state commissioner of police, has ordered the suspect’s immediate transfer to the state criminal investigation and intelligence department’s anti-human trafficking and child labor unit for further investigation and prosecution, according to Oyeyemi.

He said the CP, who voiced concern over the high rate of incest in the state, recommended mothers to keep a close eye on their female children and not to let men play rough with them, regardless of their relationship with the people.
