My parents prayed for excellent children, not houses, cars or “things”.

They asked me for a Grammy, and here we are. I am a product of sacrifice! Thank God and thank you all again!”
The win marks Burna Boy’s first Grammy Award after being nominated last year, making him the first Nigerian to win a Grammy award. An elated Burna Boy said his Grammy Award is a big win for Africa.
