Popular Nigerian singer, Flavour N’abania has consoled an American lady scammed by a stranger who impersonated him online.
Co-hosts Nev Schulman and Kamie Crawford assisted a woman named Kimberly who thought she was dating Flavour on the July 12 episode of MTV’s base show, ‘Catfish’.
Kimberly’s daughter wrote to the show, stating that her mother had been duped by strangers online in the past and was concerned that the same thing would happen again with her mother’s latest online love, Flavour.

During Nev and Kamie’s search for information, the co-hosts looked through Kimberly’s Instagram account for “Flavour”. While there weren’t many comments on his posts, they did notice one that stood out.
They messaged the woman who left the comment and then informed Kimberly of their findings.
Nev informed her that the woman who left the comment appeared to be from Nigeria and claimed to have a job with “Flavour”.
While Nev is sceptical that Kimberly is conversing with the real “Flavor”, she insists that she did a video chat with him.
