The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Tuesday completed their qualification for the 2021 AFCON with a 3-0 bashing of Lesotho at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen opened scoring for the Eagles in the 23rd minute before Oghenekaro Etebo and Paul Onuachu sealed the three points in the second half of the match.
The victory over the crocodiles of Lesotho ensured that the Eagles finished the qualification round with an unbeaten record and marked their return to playing in Lagos in a grand style.
Nigeria also finished as winners of Group L with 14 points from four wins and two draws while Lesotho, finished at the bottom of the group.
Cameroon will host the 33rd edition of the continental football showpiece which was earlier postponed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), due to Covid-19.
