The Government of Lagos State has authorized the management of Dowen College, Lekki, to make modifications after the death of Sylvester Oromoni.
Folasade Adefisayo, Commissioner for Education, stated that the lapses discovered in administration during inspection and investigation must be corrected.
The ministry resolved to this position on Thursday after the advice of the Department of Public Prosecution (DPP) which says Oromoni’s death could not be linked to bullying.

She disclosed that monitoring and inspection of schools were being repaired to improve efficiency.
Adefisayo confirmed that Dowen College management had been mandated to work on school governance gaps, as well as other regulatory issues.
