The Youths for Progressive Alliance, YFPA, a socio-political group, under the aegis of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abia State has cautioned mischief makers to desist from their campaign of calumny against Dr. Samson Uchechukwu Ogah, Minister of State, Mines and Solid Development.
The group, in a statement issued on Monday, August 16, and signed by its President, Comrade Emmanuel Nwabuko, cautioned the mischief makers not to associate Dr. Uche Ogah with any purported crisis in the Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to the group, there is no rift between Dr Uche Ogah and Senate Chief Whip, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, as they both enjoy a very cordial relationship, which also extends to other leaders and members of the party in the state.
Meanwhile, Dr Ogah has committed so much in building the All Progressives Congress, APC in Abia State and cannot join any clique to destroy the same party he laboured to build.

It explained that Dr Ogah and Senator Kalu are leaders of the party in the state and the duo have attracted impressive infrastructural projects to the state and even the South East in general.
The group stressed that the enviable leadership quality of the honourable minister is largely responsible for the overwhelming followership and current numerical strength of the party and with solidified structures in every ward and local government area in Abia State.
The YFPA further urged members of the party and supporters to ignore the ploys of those they described as ‘clogs in the wheel of progress of the state and the party’, noting that they are bent on destroying whatever gains the party and the two leaders have made in Abia State.
YFPA also threatened to make public the names of the mischief makers to the National Caretaker Committee of the party led by Mai Mala Buni, the Yobe State Governor.
