The carpenter then called him back on Sunday evening, asking if the singer could come to his house on Monday morning. Timi Dakolo, perplexed, stated that all he wanted to know was if he ate from Friday morning to Sunday evening.
He wrote: “My carpenter guy that stays on the mainland that told me on Friday morning ‘I dey outside your estate gate sir’, let me just grab something to eat. I mean since Friday morning, just called now to ask if he can come tomorrow morning. So I asked, you still Dey chop?”
This experience, and some others, made Timi Dakolo conclude that not more than three of the artisans will make heaven.
