Portuguese striker and five-time Ballon d’or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo scored two times with wonderful headers yesterday to keep Juventus among the top contenders for the Serie A title race.
With the two goals scored yesterday, Cristiano Ronaldo has joined the history makers in Juventus. Ronaldo’s brace takes his number of goals to 90 to surpass Filippo Inzaghi, as the 15th all-time goal scorer in Juventus history.
Inzaghi’s record was erased with the five-time Ballon d’or winner playing 48 games less than the total number of games Inzaghi played for Juve.

Ronaldo continues to break records after scoring twice yesterday to be one of the players in Juventus’ history to have scored against all clubs in Serie A.

The Portuguese international scored his 27th and 28th goal of the season after Alex Sandro and Aaron Ramsey’s crosses at the 38th and during the first half extra additional time to secure a comfortable two goals at halftime. The third goal came in at the 66th minute through Weston Mckennie to record a comfortable 3-0 win at home to Crotone side, who are the last in the relegation spot.
After the two straight losses from rivals AC Milan and four straight wins from Inter Milan, with a win yesterday by Juventus, they now close the gap by four points and eight points with their rivals, AC and Inter Milan to still be among the contenders of the league title.
