The United Bank for Africa Plc, Africa’s Global Bank, has rewarded its loyal customers with ₦16.6m cash prizes in its UBA Super Savers draw.

On Friday, representatives from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission and the Consumer Protection Council attended the computerised draw at the UBA Head Office.
The prizes were distributed as follows: 12 new millionaires won a total of ₦13.2 million; one person received ₦500,000; 20 Bumper account holders won ₦100,000 each totalling ₦2 million; 10 Savings Account customers won ₦1 million totalling ₦10 million; and five NextGen customers won ₦15,000 per person every month for a year, totalling ₦900,000.

Elisha Yusuf, a UBA Bumper account holder, won ₦2 million in the Bumper account draw; Naomi Ogoma Aba, another bank customer, won ₦1.2 million; and Veronica Logbo received ₦500,000.
Ogechi Altraide, UBA’s Head of Personal Banking, who congratulated all the winners following the draw, said the bank is putting smiles on its customers’ faces and encouraging them to cultivate a culture of saving.
She said, “At UBA, we are all about encouraging our customers to imbibe the savings culture, to be able to achieve their dreams while putting away something for the future. This time around, we have given away huge prizes as can be seen today; to appreciate our customers who believe in us and have trusted the bank with their funds“.

Customers who did not win during the promotion were encouraged to prepare for the next draws, which would be announced soon.
Recall that, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, Africa’s Global Bank, has announced the expansion of Leo, it’s Artificial Intelligence chatbot, to Google Business Chat and Instagram.
Leo-AI-powered UBA’s chatbot, which allows clients to do key banking operations via their social media accounts, was originally presented in January 2018. It has subsequently evolved into a bespoke, personalised virtual banker for several UBA customers across the continent’s 20 countries. Previously, UBA’s Leo handled customer service via Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, and Apple Chat.
