The president, Umuahia Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (UCCIMA), Chidi Nkem- Aruoma, has lauded the state government over the free CAC business registration of two hundred Abia residents.
In an Interview with our correspondent, during the presentation of certificates to the two hundred residents of Abia, that benefitted from the free CAC business name registration in Umuahia, the UCCIMA president said the exercise was a welcome development as it would help solve the issue of unemployment in the state, as well as, increase trade apprenticeship, adding that every business man is an employer of labour.
According to Nkem-Aruoma, this exercise will enable the people of Abia state, go into the business world fully equipped and recognized.
He added that government should give soft loans to the registrants, so that it won’t end at the free Business registration alone.

Nkem-Aruoma, however, posited that financial assistance, as well as a conducive environment be given so that their businesses can thrive, adding that UCCIMA is ready to offer free business guidance to the new business owners as a way of encouragement.
The UCCIMA boss further commended the Abia state governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, for his tireless efforts in maintaining a safe Abia, despite what is happening.
