Unknown Child Trafficker Disappears With Two Children in Rivers

An unknown woman has stolen two children, Success Etebong and Goodluck Ajemina aged three years respectively at Nwachukwu Street Mile 11 Diobu, Port Harcourt.

Hope Sunday, an aunty to one of the missing Child, Goodluck Ajemina told our correspondent that the unknown woman initially took nine children but later disappeared with only two.

Hope Sunday stated that the matter has been reported to Azikiwe Divisional Police headquarters at Illabouchi, Mile 11 Diobu, Port Harcourt.

Another resident who spoke to our correspondent disclosed that the unknown woman came to make her hair.

The source informed our correspondent that the woman after making her hair gave money to the person who made her hair who is the mother of one of the children to buy something for her.

The source further revealed that when the mother of the child came back, the unknown woman had disappeared with her child and one other.

Our correspondent who visited the area reports that the Police had detained some persons who were at the scene where the unknown woman left with the two children for purpose of investigation.

Similarly, four students of Community Secondary School Nkpolu Oroworukwo in Mile Diobu Port Harcourt were on Friday 19 November, 2021 remanded in the custody of Nkpolu Divisional Police headquarters, Mile 3 Diobu over charges bordering on cultism.

Our correspondent who cited the charge report that the charge sheet PMC 1478C read that you Uchechi Okene ‘m’ aged 17, Hakeem Suleman ‘m’ aged 18, Sunday Progress ‘m’ aged 16 years and Nicholas Benson ‘m’ aged 16 years on the 17th day of November 2021 in Community Secondary School Nkpolu, Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt in Port Harcourt magisterial district did conspire to commit felony to with Cultism and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 516(A) of the criminal code, Cap 37 Vol.11 laws of Rivers State of Nigeria.

Count 11 read; That you Uchechi Okene ‘m’, Hakeem Suleiman ‘m’, Sunday Progress ‘m’ and Nicholas Benson ‘m’ on the same date and place at the aforesaid magisterial district did belong and are members of Deegbam Secret cult group and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 2(1) of the secret cut and similar activities prohibition N0 6 laws of Rivers State of Nigeria.
