Due to the rate at which the Covid-19 virus has been spreading, newer rules have been authorized to contain its spread. However, residents of France are not pleased with how restrictive this would be as they took to the streets on the weekend for a demonstration.
According to reports, the demonstration led to the vandalism of a health centre located in the southwestern part of France followed by an arson not long after that; partial damage of another health clinic on the southeastern side.

More than a hundred thousand were on the streets complaining about the Covid rules passed; that declared that all French inhabitants are mandated to be vaccinated, and own a health pass if they wanted to move around in public.
French citizens are worried about how much this would impede their freedom of movement and they criticize the government for this step.
Inscriptions on walls of vandalized properties by protesters showed anti-vaccine motion. French citizens have been told by lawmaker Martine Wonner to disturb any lawmaker that supported the new covid rules.

Wide vaccination coverage was initiated due to reports from scientists on an impending fourth wave in approaching months. A little over half of the French citizens have received their first dose of the injection while much less than half have got their second dose.
President Macron administration is attempting to control the fast rise of the Delta variant in France. So far, the Covid pandemic has claimed more than a hundred thousand lives.
