Nigeria’s vice president, Yemi Osinbajo is scheduled to arrive, Owerri, Imo State today, April 6, 2021.
This was contained in a statement, relayed by the Special Adviser/Chief of protocol to the Governor of Imo state, Bright Nwelue.
The vice president’s visit is to see to the commissioning of a road project in the state.
The statement read:
The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo SAN will today commission one of the most critical roads in Imo State solidly constructed and delivered by the shared Prosperity Government of Senator Hope Uzodimma.
According to a close source, the vice president will also be visiting the correctional facility that was attacked by hoodlums yesterday, April, 5, 2021.
It will be recalled that there was a huge mob attack on the correctional facility and released over 1,844 out of the 1,879 resident inmates.
