The Bank of Industry (BoI) has announced the opening of its application portal for all interested Nigerians who would want to be beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s N75billion Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Intervention Fund.
This announcement was disclosed by a representative of the BoI, Amina Habu Mohammed, during a press conference on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NASSI and Bank of Industry and sensitization on N75billion MSME Intervention Fund in Abuja, the nation's capital on Monday.
The Nigerian Association of Small Scale Industrialists (NASSI) poured words of econium on the Federal Government for the intervention programme, describing it as a lifeline and channel of help for all Nigerian MSMEs.
The BOI representative said that the fund targets 75million SMSEs at N1million each at nine per cent interest rate for a period of three years without collateral from the SMEs.
Speaking further, he said that the flexible loan aims to boost SMSEs in the country and improve the conditions of living of the people, adding that the application portal can be accessed at https://fgnboimsmeinterventionloan.boi.ng/
Earlier in his remarks, the National President of NASSI, Dr Solomon Vongfa, described the N75billion as a beacon of hope and strength for countless MSMEs that have been struggling to access affordable funds in other to enhance their businesses.

He further pointed out that, the fund offers loans at competitive interest rates, making it easier for MSMEs to secure the capital they need to expand their businesses.
He mentioned that the application process has been streamlined to minimize bureaucratic hurdles and in ensuring timely disbursement of funds to anyone interested in getting the loans.
He explained that the purpose of the fund is to provide technical assistance and capacity-building programmes to help MSMEs improve their business practices and enhance their competitiveness in the market.
