Choosen Overseer Denies Recent Testimony Claims

Pastor Lazarus Muoka of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries has dismissed the alleged testimony claim by some social media users, stating that they do not fabricate testimonies.

The ongoing controversy erupted from a viral video where a woman was seen and heard testifying about how she single-handedly defeated four armed robbers and collected their guns, guns which she had initially called an ‘AK-27’ and immediately, a pastor was heard correcting her, stating it was not AK-27 but rather an ‘AK-47’.

Recall that NigerDelta Connect had earlier reported the issues of these alleged false testimonies from different persons, all members of the Lords Chosen Church.

The viral testimony has resulted in the mockery of several others, given by the church’s members.

The church’s spokesman Pastor Chidi Louis said the testimony was fabricated and as so, tagged it false.

Note that the Chosen Church has since faced numerous criticism and allegations and the church management has also subsequently tried to deny all allegations to the church from both Christians and even church members.

The church management, claims that all of those allegations are untrue and are false.

Pastor Chidi Louis, who is the church management spokesman has come out and has given a public statement as regards to these shenanigans going on online, and this is what he had to say to the general public;

“Nigerians should disregard the fake video and visit our church platform to listen to the complete testimony for better understanding. The woman’s story was said to have occurred in a dream, and not in reality”.

He also put out a stern warning, advising people not to believe everything they see on social media, while also stating that , bloggers are often known to edit and fine tune contents just to ridicule the good works of God.

“Most of these bloggers are wicked and devilish”.

Also recall that, this statement came shortly after a report revealing Martins Vincent Otse, a Nigerian activist and critic popularly known as Verydarkman aka VDM who had called on the Christian Association of Nigeria ‘CAN’ to look into the matters concerning religious organizations, while stating his plans on sueing the church for allegedly misleading people in the Christian body.
