A former Federal Commissioner/Ombudsman at Public Complaints Commission, PCC, Barrister Willie Amadi has released his own obsequies ahead of his demise.
In a statement cabled to our correspondent via Whatsapp at the weekend, Barr Amadi disclosed that his remains should be interred within 48 hours of his passing and that the funeral ceremony must last for only 30 minutes.
The Principal Partner at Nominees Law Chamber Owerri further disclosed that he has instructed that he must be buried naked in his beautiful tomb which he has already constructed at his Ajuzieogu Lodge in Owerri, Imo State.

But before the interment, he said his body must be immersed for 10 minutes in the swimming pool in his country home.
To cap it all, he said the song by Rosemary Siemens entitled; “I Will Cling To The Old Rugged Cross’ would be played as his remains is being lowered to the earth.
Hear him; “This song shall be played when my body is being lowered into my beautiful tomb and final resting place at Ajuzieogu Lodge, Owerri within 48 hours of my transition after immersing me in my swimming poll completely stark naked for 10 minutes.
“This 30-minute glorious ceremony shall be witnessed strictly by family members to end my profound earthly journey. Please never never weep for me. If in any way you contributed to making me happy while alive today, His grace is sufficient.”
He declined to explain why it is Siemens’ song that would be played at his brief and fast-paced interment and why his corpse must be soaked at his swimming pool and whether he still wants his survivors to use the pool afterwards.
Barrister Amadi studied Law at the University of Calabar (UNICAL). He later obtained a Master's degree in Law from the Imo State University IMSU, Owerri.
Barr Amadi also gave a caveat to the effect that only his immediate family members are allowed to witness his interment.
But should they fail to carry out his instructions, what becomes their fate; what will be the consequences of their disobedience?
Barr Amadi told this reporter earlier that among his immediate relatives are those who fear that the dead could cause them harm hence would gladly do as he has commanded them.
According to him, to beat in line those who might want to treat with levity his instructions, he had explicitly wrote in his will that such people would not inherit any of his property.
Perhaps, the thought of losing their inheritance may spur such relatives to do as commanded.
