Nigerian Influencer Sonariwo Reacts to Diddy's Controversy

Nigerian social media influencer Michael Sonariwo has weighed in on Sean "Diddy" Combs' recent controversy, expressing disappointment and nostalgia.

Sonariwo shared his thoughts, saying, "Diddy has ruined his youth" for him, as he had fond memories attached to the music mogul's songs over the years.

Reacting to the shocking discovery made by authorities at Diddy's apartment, Sonariwo joined the chorus of fans reeling from the news. His sentiments reflect the widespread disillusionment among Diddy's admirers, who saw him as a cultural icon and music industry powerhouse.

Recall that there has been an uproar of the social media space after bottles of baby oil were found in rappers apartment.

Note that, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was ordered held without bail on Tuesday, after he was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy pleaded not guilty to the charges in federal court in New York City.

The charges were revealed in an indictment unsealed Tuesday morning after the hip-hop mogul was taken into custody by federal authorities in New York.

In the indictment, prosecutors allege that since 2008 Combs has been part of a criminal organization that engaged in or attempted to engage in sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, obstruction of justice and other offenses.

The federal indictment documents alleged that the music mogul organized “Freak Offs,” or “elaborate sex performances”, during which female victims were compelled through “force, threats of force, and coercion, to cause victims to engage in extended sex acts with male commercial sex workers.

Prosecutors mentioned that Diddy directed these Freak Offs’ and often recorded them and distributed controlled substances to the victims, which helped make them obedient and compliant.

"He used the embarrassing and sensitive recordings he made of the 'Freak Offs' as collateral against the victims, and the indictment alleges that he maintained control over the victims in several ways, including by giving them drugs, by giving and threatening to take away financial support or housing, by promising them career opportunities, by monitoring their whereabouts and even by dictating their physical appearance”.

The 54-year-old rapper was also accused of running a racketeering conspiracy by having engaged in a persistent and pervasive pattern of abuse toward women and other individuals.

Among the supplies seized by authorities from Diddy’s home earlier this year, were 1,000 bottles of baby oil.
