Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara has approved the payment of eighty five thousand naira (N85,000.00) as new minimum wage for its workforce.
This was the agreement reached after a meeting with Governor Fubara and members of the organised labor in the State at Government House house in Port Harcourt on Friday.
The new minimum wage will take effect from November 2024.
