Diddy Combs Faces Five New Civil Lawsuits

Five new civil lawsuits have been filed against hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs in a New York federal court, with the plaintiffs accusing him of sexual assault at various events in Los Angeles, New York, and Las Vegas.

The plaintiffs—two men and three women—allege that the incidents took place over several years, with one involving a 13-year-old girl.

Combs, who is currently in custody at a Brooklyn jail, also faces separate federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, which he denies.

His legal team has dismissed the recent lawsuits as "attempts to garner publicity," maintaining that "Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone—adult or minor, man or woman."

The lawsuits claim that Combs, or his associates, drugged the plaintiffs' drinks at parties, leaving them disoriented and vulnerable. The allegations range from rape and forced oral sex to aggressive groping. One case involves a claim that Mr. Combs and another male celebrity raped a 13-year-old girl following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards.

Other accusations include an independent artist allegedly raped after being drugged at a party, a male personal trainer sexually assaulted at Mr. Combs' Hollywood Hills home in 2022, and a woman who woke up naked in his hotel room with no memory of the previous night.

These lawsuits add to a growing list of allegations against Mr. Combs, who has been accused of rape, grooming, and domestic violence over the past year. He faces up to life in prison if convicted of the federal charges. His trial is scheduled for May 2025, and he has been denied bail multiple times. Prosecutors have labeled him as the leader of a criminal enterprise that exploited women through coercion and threats of violence.

Diddy Combs also known as PDiddy one of rap's most influential figures and a successful music mogul, was arrested and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering.

Prosecutors accused Combs of creating a criminal enterprise involving forced labour, kidnapping, arson, and bribery.

They alleged that he "abused, threatened, and coerced women" as part of these operations.

This court case follows a turbulent year for Combs, who has faced several lawsuits from women, including his long-time partner, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura. Ventura and others have accused the musician of sexual and physical abuse.
