Heartland FC have announced the appointment of Emmanuel Amunike as their new head coach.

The former Nigerian international, who last managed Egyptian side Misr Lei Makkasa in February 2021, is tasked with leading the team back to success after their recent relegation to the Nigeria National League (NNL).
Amunike, 53, brings a wealth of experience to Heartland FC. Heartland FC’s relegation last season has left the team with a challenging path ahead, and his leadership is seen as a crucial step in their journey back to the top tier of Nigerian football.
Meanwhile, the Naze Millionaires have reportedly agreed with Beyond Limits Academy to purchase her league slot.
Heartland, a five-time NPFL champion, was relegated to the Nigeria National League (NNL) last season. Meanwhile, Beyond Limits Academy won the NNL title last season, securing promotion to the top flight.
