The Imo State chapter of the People's Democratic Party PDP on Wednesday inaugurated newly elected executives of the party in 25 out of the 27 local government councils in the state.
The two councils whose executives were not inaugurated were those of Isiala Mbano and Nkwerre.
Our correspondent gathered that there are disturbing issues of some of members of the executives in the two councils travelling out of the country after the congress and non-observance of the zoning system in the election of the executives.

As a result the new state Chairman of the party, Hon Austin Nwachukwu ordered that the infractions have to be corrected before the affected executives would be inaugurated.
The executives of the rest 25 council areas were inaugurated amid jubilation.
The inauguration which took place at the PDP State Secretariat along Okigwe road, Owerri was witnessed by party faithful and critical stakeholders.
Hon Nwachukwu (Igbudu) charged them not to betray the confidence reposed in them by members of the party in their respective LGAs.
He assured that the state leadership of the party would not relent in its efforts to take the party to an enviable height when the local chapters are formidable.
According to him, PDP in the state would not tolerate any negligence of duty, in-fighting, rancour and acrimony that may drag the reputation of the party to public opprobrium and odium.
The Chairman assured that the executives of the affected areas would be inaugurated once the disturbing issues were resolved.
Administering oath of allegiance and office, the state Legal Adviser, Barr Bennett Amukamara urged them to strive to uphold the rules and regulations of the party as well as improve on programmes that would advance the chances of PDP taking over government at all levels.
While urging them to shun any act capable of breaching the peace, unity and development of the party in their respective areas, Amukamara maintained that by so doing, the party would be seen to possess the capacity to confront and win all elections in the LGAs and Imo state.
The newly inaugurated LGA Executives will in turn inaugurate the executives of the party at the ward level.
