Innocent Chukwuma, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, of Innoson Motors, has pleaded with Nigerians to exercise patience with President Bola Tinubu's government, stating that the President will leave the country better than he found it.
While Stating that he knows how the President behaves, he urged citizens to give him a short time and see Nigeria improve in every way.
He said “At times like this, I decided to visit Mr President and encourage him “People must be patient. This President, I know how he behaves, everything we want, we will see the better side of Nigeria. Let everybody calm down for him, we will see a better Nigeria from Tinubu.
The Innoson Boss who had an interactive session with Newsmen at the State House on Thursday, 09, August 2024 after an official meeting with President Tinubu also said Nigerians will soon be embraced with Compressed Natural Gas, CNG buses made by his company.
While stressing that the previous government sold Nigeria’s crude oil upfront, and collected money without making any supply, the Innoson CEO expressed confidence on the current administration, emphasizing support and patience by Nigerians.
He, however, spoke on the recent Nationwide Hardship protest organised by Nigerian Youths against the Economic downturn and bad governance in the country.
On the protest that resulted in looting, and destruction, He frowned against the destruction of public infrastructure noting that there was no benefit in doing so.
When asked if Nigerians should expect to see collaboration between the government and Innoson Motors, he replied, in the affirmative and said the government is doing its best "Yes, the government is doing its best with Innoson Motors, The partnership is ongoing; and in a short while, Innoson Motors will be seen everywhere."He added.
Chukwuma noted that he started the project on Compressed Natural Gas,(CNG) vehicles two years ago and he was the first Nigerian to bring the idea to reality.

The CEO emphasized that his visit to the presidency was on CNG vehicle issues and that in a short while, the masses would see the buses on the road.
He expressed optimism that the government’s initiatives on CNG were the best idea because of its benefits to the Nation.
