Ivy Ifeoma, the wife of Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, has addressed online trolls who questioned the color of her breast milk. The drama started when Ivy shared a video on Instagram showcasing her breast milk, which led a follower to claim it looked like “diluted milk.” The troll commented, “That thing you brought out is formula, not breast milk. Breast milk is a bit yellowish.”
Responding via her Instagram stories, Ivy shut down the criticism with a mix of wit and education. She pointed out that breast milk changes in color and composition over time, especially in the early stages when colostrum, a nutrient-rich first milk, is present. “Some of you guys in the comments aren’t bright. When did all humans become the same? The ‘yellowish’ one is colostrum-infused,” she explained.
The new mum, who welcomed her child weeks ago, expressed frustration with misinformation that could confuse mothers. She advised critics to refrain from spreading ignorance, saying, “Don’t knock what you don’t know”
