Famous Nigerian entertainer, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy, has hailed Nigerian youths, following the outcome of the first day of the nationwide hardship protest.

Charly Boy on his X official handle urged Nigerians to continue the pressure until the government understands that the tides are changing, adding that work just started.
The veteran entertainer pointed out that the protest was a confirmation that a lot of Nigerians had gotten grips to the reality that the government did not care about them.
Nigerians trooped out in their numbers to protest across several states on Monday, August 1.
The National Hardship Protest, set to last 10 days, demands government action to address rising costs, unemployment, and poverty. Students, workers, and traders are seen participating and calling for relief from the hardships.
The protesters maintained that they would not relax on their paddles until their demands are met by the government who has neglected them.
They insisted that the government should endeavor to embark on massive investment in the public works and industrialization that will help in terms of employment to Nigeria’s teeming youths.
Protesters across the nation have called for investment in education, give students grants, not loans to aggressively pursue free and compulsory education for children across Nigeria.
Others have called on the federal government to probe past and present Nigeria leaders who have looted the Treasury, recover and use them for infrastructural development.
While reacting to the protest, he wrote: “Brave, Strong and determined Nigerian youths, una make me proud today.
“First: Una congratulations on a job well done. But our work just start.
“As most of us don awake from our slumber in the realization say gofment no care for us, no send us, we no go gree for people wey no gree for us. We must keep fighting to retrieve our stolen future.
“Let’s keep the pressure up, because this devilish government must understand that the tide is changing.
They must never feel safe again, unless dey start doing the needful.
