Nigerian comedian and content creator, Olamide Ogunleye, popularly known as Oluwadolarz, has sparked widespread reactions on social media after sharing a disturbing experience involving an unnamed figure in the entertainment industry.
Taking to his Instagram story on Sunday night, the talented entertainer disclosed that a particular influential individual in the industry made an inappropriate proposition to him in exchange for promoting his music.
According to Oluwadolarz, the unnamed entertainer requested a sexual favour, specifically asking the comedian to engage in a sexual act before offering to endorse his music or help him top the charts.
In his post, Oluwadolarz expressed his disbelief at the unlawful demand. He wrote “You will promote my songs. Endorse my music. Help me top chart. But make I first bend over make you enter my Yansh. E.n.k.r sir.”
This revelation by the entertainer has stirred conversations online, with many fans and fellow entertainers voicing their support for Oluwadolarz while condemning the inappropriate behaviour allegedly exhibited by the unnamed industry figure.
While Oluwadolarz is primarily known for his comic contents, he has also ventured into music.
The Entertainer has released several parodies of trending songs, collaborating with various artists.
One of his most notable musical efforts came in 2018 when he remade Olamide Badoo’s hit track Science Student, a move that reportedly displeased the original artist.
In a past interview with Sunday Scoop, Oluwadolarz explained that his intention was never to upset Olamide.
He noted that Olamide had previously shared his version of the hit song Wo on social media but did not react favourably to Science Student. Despite this, the two have maintained cordial relations, with Oluwadolarz recounting a meeting during a video shoot where Olamide warmly greeted him without mentioning the controversy.
Earlier this year, Oluwadolarz made waves with his collaboration with Smile T on the single Fuchor Me, further showcasing his growing interest in music. Despite his rising fame, the comedian remains humble, having stated in an interview on August 4, 2024, that he still considers himself an "up-and-coming" talent, regardless of his success.
Oluwadolarz’s recent revelations have brought attention to the darker side of the entertainment industry, prompting calls for more transparency and accountability in showbiz.
