P-Square Rift: Peter Okoye Fingers brother in Emotional Letter

Peter Okoye, better known by his stage name Mr. P of then P-Square, has expressed disappointment with his twin brother, Paul Okoye who is famously known as Rudeboy, over remarks that he believed ‘undervalued’ his work with the disbanded P-Square group.

The famous P-Square Group which is managed by Jude Okoye, the brother to the twin singers has faced division since 2021, after failed attempts to reconcile the siblings.

In an interview last month, Paul confirmed the group’s split again, but, didn’t provide reason for the latest twist of event after they got back together a year ago. Peter, mentioned that he had often told his brother that he wasn’t in a competition with him or anyone else.

However, seeing that Paul had granted numerous interviews, allegedly claiming to have single handedly written and sang 99% of P-Square songs, got Peter talking.

Peter took to the streets of X, saying that his twin brother had discredited him by saying their song with TI “Ejeajo”, which he wrote, was a failure.

Stretching his opinion, he revealed that unlike his brother Paul, he had never discredited his name during interviews. In regret and concession, he said that God’s grace has brought them thus far and opined that fans loved them for their uniqueness and not for their individual efforts.

The iconic singer recalled to have often praised his brother’s song writing abilities, but he continued to demean his kind words to his nerve-racking pleasure.

“As for those who believe these lies and false narratives, and come to my page to drop negative comments, I understand because, you have been fed the wrong narrative for a long time”.

At the summary of the statement, he questioned their individual stake to that of P-Square, unapologetically backing his claims with proof, saying that they don’t sell out arenas as they use to anymore.

He stressed emotions further, by questioning Paul about what he stands to gain from constantly portraying him as mediocre, while also revealing that he had disrespected him, his family, and legacy and trying hard to instigate fans to hate him and believing he is envious of him.

He wished his brother well and vowed to address the EFCC saga in his next post.
